Add ReviewDr. Roger Kornu is a board-certified UC Irvine Health rheumatologist who specializes in treating patients with rheumatoid arthritis. He also is an expert in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis. His clinical interests include connective tissue diseases, such as lupus and vasculitis, as well as osteoarthritis and gout.
He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in rheumatology. He comes to UC Irvine Health from a multispecialty group practice, where he served as chief of rheumatology.
He has published in both basic science and clinical journals and served as editor of a chapter on rheumatology for a textbook on internal medicine. He has been an investigator in clinical trials for rheumatoid arthritis, lupus and osteoporosis and speaker at many physician and patient conferences.
