Architerra is one the premiere builders in our area and they do build a good quality home with great finishes. I recommend them to my clients often.

Wow I had the best experience with Architerra homes from start to finish from my walk-through with the realtor agent to the full design team that picked up my floor plan, my interiors, even my faucets and sinks, countertops, cabinets, fabulous laminate flooring, high ceilings plus very professional all the way through. I would recommend an Architerra home to any of my friends and family members!

Poor customer service and relations. Don't believe the hype in this builder. Builder cuts corners. Refuses to install a shower door in the master bathroom because we did not purchase the upgraded door. Our paperwork shows a standard shower door and a upgrade shower door. David Resnor of Architerra states that our paperwork must be a typo. The standard is no shower door. Besides the fact that my paperwork shows a standard shower door, who thinks no shower door on a full shower is a viable option? The builder also cut my relatively flat lot for the foundation in such a way to create a need for a retainer wall in the backyard. Instead of installing a proper retainer wall, the builder is once again taking the cheap route to avoid a properly engineered wall. They are literally stacking boulders in the backyard to create a retainer wall. They are not pushing back the slope at all so I literally have boulders stacked in the middle of my backyard substantially decreasing backyard space. We purchased the backyard landscaping package and after seeing the poor job they were doing with the retainer wall, we wanted to pull out of the backyard landscaping because we are going to have to remove the rock pile and put in a standard retainer wall which would probably destroy the landscaping. We were told that we could not remove the backyard landscaping because it is in the original contract. Architerra Homes is just taking advantage of buyers in this stupid Idaho real estate market and don't care about their customers.
Per the company's website, Architerra Homes claims they have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Better Business Bureau website states they are not Better Business Bureau Accredited.

UPDATE: 3/11/21: Architerra finally installed the standard shower door, but only after my attorney threatened them with a lawsuit. Thanks Architerra for ruining what should have been an enjoyable home purchase over a cheap shower door and a poor backyard landscaping plan.

New build

My husband and I purchased our first home with Architerra Homes. We are so happy with the finishes and craftsmanship of the home. Our walk-through with David was very informative and helpful. Everyone was great to work with and we are so happy with the neighborhood.

My wife and I loved our selection meeting for two reasons:
1) The standard packages with Architerra are thousands of dollars in upgrades with any other builder
2) Their staff was so patient and helpful throughout the entire meeting

We are truly excited to build our new home with Architerra!

Follow-up review now that we own the home:

It is rare to work with a builder and have only positive things to say about them. Every interaction with Architerra left us more impressed than before. Our vision of everything we wanted in a future home is now a reality. We are so glad we chose to build with Architerra. A few highlights:
- Our build finished in less than 6 months
- As long as it was safe, Architerra let us frequently walk the site which made the entire process very enjoyable
- I can't say enough about the quality of the home
- The people that work for Architerra are professional and respectful.

Architerra Homes is in our opinion the best builder in our area. The construction and workmanship is excellent. I am a real estate agent and my husband is a retired general contractor and we were so happy with every step of the building process with everyone at Architerra.

I could not be happier with the quality of my new home, but very importantly, I am overly impressed with the company's customer service and responsiveness. Those are words that not all builders hear, but they have been very efficient and responsive. I would recommend them to anyone in search of a beautiful home.

Architerra Homes is a wonderful builder. My daughter's family just moved in to one of their homes and it is beautiful and very well built with great amenities. Their sales staff is very knowledgeable and responsive.
