We created ‘EastBay Composites' to demystify carbon fiber technology and to make it accessible to our customers. For years carbon fiber has been synonymous with strength and light weight but also with complexity and extreme cost. Few people even considered making their own parts out of carbon fiber as it was always assumed to be too difficult. For many years this was true but no longer. Our mission is to build and sell kits that contain all the components that you will need to make your own parts and to explain the process so that anyone willing to take the time can be successful. If you have always liked carbon fiber but were scared off by the high prices, now you can make parts yourself for a fraction of the cost.
