Add ReviewI went to join the ymca on parsons blvd. in jamaica queens, and I have to say that I was a little surprised to see and hear the unprofessional manner in which some employees spoke amungst each other and toward people who were members and wanted to be members. my experience wasnt a good one, tho there was a nice young man who helped me when i came in and it all went down hill when he asked his superior or supervisor a simple question. She answered him so nast with such a attitude that i felt bad for the young man and it even gave me a second thought about joining and having to encounter someone like that. sad to say when i went with a friend whos a member i clearly remember that being the same lady who had the super nasty attitude. you would figure that a person working in a place like the ymca you would treat people with some type of curtesy and welcome. i cant speak for the rest of the ymca's but i can tell you that most of the staff at parsons is terrible mainly the older woman who's there. the ymca on parsons could be 100xs better some employees there actually care so its possible.Report
