Add ReviewWe are staying at the resort for 11 days. Welcoming leis and juices are nice. Beautiful resort. Not enough beach chairs, not enough lounge chairs by the water slides for everyone. I had to bring my own beach mat to sit on the beach. Not enough chairs by the entrance for people to sit and enjoy the view. Resort outdoor activities such as lei making, ukulele lessons…are very limited, just 5 groups or so a day. The entire week of resort activities are all booked up. We could not even book any resort activities for our kids.Report
The best hotel we've ever stayed at. The service and rooms were great and the views were amazing. The pool was also pretty awesome, especially at sunset.Report
Restaurants/room service were ok - definitely better to go to the restaurants around the hotel but it you don't want to leave the resort there were some pretty good options from all of them.
The staff was so friendly and extremely welcoming, beyond what is normally considered good customer service.Re: The best hotel we've ever ... This is my first trip to Maui and Hawaii in general and this resort has amazing views and great service! Also renting a Tesla…it was great that this resort has some Tesla chargers to plug in and give our car some juice to explore the wonderful island! Worst experience ever. Stay away from the Garden View Room because it does not even have a "garden view". All you see is a line of people with their luggage's waiting to check in. I've been a gold member for 7 years. Upon check-in, we were told that they wish they could do an upgrade but all the ocean view rooms are FULLY BOOKED. Instead, they put us to a room that's facing the reception desk. We cannot even open the window or use the balcony because it was too loud downstairs and people can see the inside of the room. Also it looks like they just cleaned that room because the bathroom is still wet and the door was not locked. We asked the front desk to switch us to a quieter area. Then they told us that there is an ocean view room available if we pay $1000. Was very disappointed that they can just lie to loyal customers. Also we waited for more then 30 for someone to come and take us to the new room. There are other decent resorts around the area.ReportRe: Worst experience ever. St ... Book premium ocean view. Feeling like living in a dungeon, humid and cold. View is blocked by pool actually! Will give zero star if possible. Naturally, these enhanced and unobstructed oceanfront and premium view locations are available as upgrades to the garden view or ocean view rooms. We certainly could have done more to acquaint you with the wide variety of options for room location, price, and view during your visit. I sincerely apologize for this service shortfall. The show and entertainment is enjoyable and informative. The MC does a fabulous job. The Fire show is a must see. The pork is very good.
