The Colony at the Lakes Apartments

I have lived here for several years and i can honestly say the office has greatly improved since hiring Breanna. The staff is able to help residents out faster and more smoothly. Marisa at the front desk is always ready to help you out, even if its just to hear you complain about packages. They both have been a huge blessing for the colony.

Justin was great! He helped me find all the furniture I was looking for, he went over & beyond. I will definitely be back.

Honest opinion from someone who has been living here for 7 months. This place is overly priced. Carpets are stained which is embarrassing when bringing people over, you can hear your neighbors from all four sides, Security here is horrible, got my car broken into a few times and almost stolen. You'll pay all that money a month for these inconveniences. You also pay for entertainment of seeing homeless people fighting and yelling at night. Mandatory fire alarm inspections and if your apartment isn't unlocked, for that you get fined. Privacy is a massive thing for me and this place barely provides that. Marisa really isn't a great person, definitely two faced. Glad I left this place.

I just moved into the colony and I was having issues with some details on the apartment. I came in on a Sunday and Jorge and Jose were extremely friendly. Jose the main maintenance manager came in his day off just to ensure me
That things would be taken care of.

I just moved in to this location on Friday and we love it! all thanks to Shawn, at first when I called I spoke with different employee who informed me I wouldn't qualify for this location so naturally I got upset but I did not quit looking for a place to live. One hour later I received a call from Shawn who was just following up with me. I explain my situation to him and also told him that someone had told me I wouldn't qualify but he said don't worry let me work on it.. After sending all my information and some follow ups Shawn did the impossible and made it happen for my family and me.. I don't know what happen behind the scenes but I truly believe God put Shawn in our path. Shawn thank you so much for all the help you provided and for being patient with us..

Horrible place, plz dont move here if you dont want lose your wheels. staff unprofessional, they dont care your feelings. waste your money!!!

I feel the management here are short of staff. Tons of complains are not taken care at all. The current staff are working as leasing agents who only makes new tenants happy.

Don't move hear if you like to sleep. Constant fire alarms that don't turn off. They've been doing "testing" on the fire alarms for over a month now and they constantly go off multiple times a day. They seem to only go off from midnight to 6am.

And gates to parking structure has been broken for 4 weeks straight. They used to break every other week and get fixed but it looks like they just gave up. They know that cars get broken into and stolen, as they have sent notices so you would think this would be a priority for them. Apparently the only thing their worried about is raising rent right after covid.
