I had an ambient temperature sensor replaced in my 15 Denali Duramax. The mirrors were required to be replaced due to previous owner having aftermarket mirrors that did not have the sensor. All was well until I left and ventured onto the highway. After 40mph both mirrors slapped the windows due to the wind/speed. I texted my service department manager (Young Chev Layton) about it and haven't heard a single thing in return. I can't leave my truck for days to get this fixed and my Haynes manual, YouTube, and Google are of no help at the moment.Report
Poor, poor customer service. Still waiting on a return call for their "assistance" after the vehicle I purchased was in a mechanic shop in my home state less than two weeks after driving it off their lot. My previous vehicle was totaled after someone crashed in to it in my own driveway. Vehicles in my home state were much more expensive than in UT which is where we were planning to visit family. After a smooth test drive we went forward with the purchase. After heading to Provo later that day the vehicle was acting up so I called and was told to bring it in to service (to learn what happened you can go see my review, I am not going to retype it). So we headed home and thankfully made it but it needed a tow not long after we returned. I was told to get a diagnostic on the vehicle and call them back to see how they could help. Their dealer warranty is only good for service done at their shop and the additional coverage purchased is not in affect until 45 days after purchase. They would not commit to helping but agreed this was not their business style to leave customers high and dry. Apparently it is though because I have yet to receive a call back in regard to this issue.ReportRe: Poor, poor customer servi ... Scott and his Sales team were very helpful and answered all questions I had. Financial people were really good as well. Great overall experience. I don't live in Layton I live in Salt Lake and I would make the the drive again just to deal with this dealership again great overall experience !!! I was pre-approved for a loan, and was simply looking to see what vehicles fell within my self-induced limits (no way am I spending too much on a car!). Worked with Kyle Wolfe at this location and I appreciated that he was not the "stereotypical pushy car salesman". Kyle worked with me for a couple days to find a car, and was personable while doing so. Was impressed with how quickly we got through paperwork, as well.Report
