My daughter loved the home we rented from First Star Realty. It was such a cute house but it didn't take us long to realize how hard it would be to communicate with First Star Realty. We leased from them for 2-years. Really the best and almost only way to communicate was thru text. After we moved in we heard nightmare stories about them not refunding your deposit. So on move out I drove from Dallas to make sure the house was spotless when we moved out. I hired a company to clean the home, I filled all holes and painted the walls and trim,(spent over $100 on 3 different colors of paint) and had the carpets cleaned. Before, I left I contacted First Star and asked for them to meet me to do a walk thru and they refused. It is not their policy to do walk thru's. We received a bill in the mail for $2000 for paint and $275 for cleaning. I’ve left several messages and no one will return my calls and we moved out in July! My son lived in Fayetteville and we leased through RPH. Completely different experience. Always answered their phones and we received our deposit back. I would definitely not recommend First Star Realty to lease. I’m a Realtor in the Dallas Fort Worth area and am very knowledgeable on leasing and leasing companies. Leasing with First Star Realty has been a very frustrating and costly experience!!

Shelley Dowell will go above and beyond to not only take care of your housing needs, but also get to know you on a personal basis. She is extremely knowledgeable about the housing market. She learns about her clients, not only because it helps her find the right home, rental, or conduct a sale for them, but because she truly wants to know her clients. Whatever housing need you have becomes her housing need. She recently sold my house in 2 days! She worked tirelessly to stage it to its highest potential in order to show potential buyers just how great a home it is. The whole process was well run, thought out, and executed. No matter what problem occurs, she fixes, and calms down the seller in the process. She finds solutions! Shelley is the absolutely best person to have as your agent, and the best person to call a friend.
